    Some of us already have a logo for the same reason. But the new one has a link to a campaign which makes it more appropriate to show them on the blog.

    Vimmuu:-yes,The logo that I think GM made with a lot of effort was whole heartedly supported by us and displayed.check it out on the sidebar .I have it too:)

    ..I didnt know about this new campaign,I can only imagine how happy GM and others who started the initial campaign must be feeling….that we now have a platform to and a place to search for these criminal turned netas…

    wishful thinking and I totally support it. just one question, what about the ones that have committed a crime that never got reported? for this campaign to succeed we Indians need to find the courage to stand up against and report all crime especially the ones committed by rich, well connected politicians. I’d be interested in seeing how man sign up for and follow through if there were a “Find your balls and Fight Crime.” campaign.

    Thanks Abhi. GM designed the logo and I coined ‘Say no to criminals’ and now we actually have a site which endorses the same. Talk about similar minds.

    So there are more of our kinds who are sick of our politics.

    Thanks Da Eternal Rebel for starting the cause.

    Its a great one… even though I support this campaign I didnt put this logo in my blog… because many of the bloggers were knowledgable enough to find the criminal activities of politicians.. but now I am going to put this logo as it has precise info and to take it forward this campaign we have to put the info about the candidates who are going to fight in the coming elections. So that we can avoid them

    Indyeah, you have provided a useful link for a good cause. As I see it this problem cannot be fought without drastic changes in the law. The law considers anyone charged with an offence honest until proven guilty. Fair enough. But the problem begins when a candidate can be given a ticket to contest elections because none of the cases ever proceeds to convict him/her. But you would be surprised that a government servant who is facing charges is summarily dismissed from service for charges against him/her without the same logic being applied. So this dismissed employee now has only one choice – to fight for elections!

    I was reading ur blog posts and found some of them to be very good.. u write well.. Why don’t you popularize it more.. ur posts on ur blog ‘CONSIDER IT CRASHED’ took my particular attention as some of them are interesting topics of mine too;

    BTW I help out some ex-IIMA guys who with another batch mate run where you can post links to your most loved blog-posts. Rambhai was the chaiwala at IIMA and it is a site where users can themselves share links to blog posts etc and other can find and vote on them. The best make it to the homepage!

    This way you can reach out to rambhai readers some of whom could become your ardent fans.. who knows.. 🙂

    That’s a great link. According to that website one out ofe every five politicians have criminal records. I wonder why the parties give them a ticket!! I guess the leaders themselves are criminals. A new law to remove everyone having a criminal record should come out first! But which criminal will bring out the law?

    yup its damn important that these criminals are exposed !that is what they are…

    Gopinath’s ”Artickles”:-Thank you sir:)
    yes the double stndards are quite evident aren they? The rules for some people are different..yes,the only logical choice indeed is for a govt servant to fight elections:D

    and well…the situation In india seems to be going from bad to worse..every criminal now thinks he can ‘rule’ India….

    Biju Mathews:-thanks:)
    yes a good question..which neta would want to bring in such a law?:D
    but as is evident with the RTI one,I am sure pressure tactics could work…though much much more pressure is required in this case coz netas are the ones ‘dierctly’ affected..
