Multiple Intelligence Test

Click to view my Personality Profile page

Took this test after I saw Solilo’s and Kislay’s and realized that there also was something called a Multiple Intelligence Test.

But err…It kinda freaked me out….

Anyway now that we have confirmed I am a genius or a freak any way you look at it😀

and no, I didnt cheat😛

Here are 25 random things about me :))

Goofy Mumma’s Tag

IHM’s,and Dewdrops ,Usha (WHom I took the tag from because I wanted to), from Solilo too:D,Surbhi and Dreams(A college friend)

Tag Twenty Five things you were better off not knowing about me

First the rules -Once you’ve been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it’s because I want to know more about you.

I won’t say that these are twenty five things you were better off not knowing about me,but rather 25 things you did not know about me:)

———————————————TAG ——————————

1.When I was around 2 years old or maybe 3 ,I picked up the word ‘ji’ as in nanaji or gandhiji😀

Mom and dad were happy to see the precocious lil kid with a growing vocabulary😀

till…they realised that the ji was applied to everything😀

Chappal ji, joota ji ,bathroom Ji,apple ji, table ji ..:D you name it😀

2.I used to eat mitti when I was a kid and a lot of it at that..:D

Mom got all worried and took me to the paediatrician who laughed like a loon and told her she could save food this way….needless to say mom was not very impressed😀

3.I could be lured with food when I was a kid😀 as long as I was given something to eat I didnt care whom I was with:D..I never cried..I mean NEVER..and Dad had kept a diary as a joke ..he wanted to write the name of something that I didn’t like eating..that diary remained empty😀

4.After watching a show of ‘Haathi mere Saathi’ I grabbed hold of some stranger’s hand and tried to go along with him thinking it was Dad..the poor man was terrified that someone would accuse him of kidnapping a child!:D

Mom and Dad were too busy laughing like lunatics😀

I was 8😀

5.I was a kid when my grandparents on both sides passed away within a span of few years..I dont know what it is like to have a grandparent and to have talks with them..I was very close to a close friend’s naani..when she passed away last year I bawled like a baby because she was my naani too in so many ways…I had shared heartbreaks with her and dreams too….

6.I was the instigator, my two bhola brothers always did what I asked them to do😀

once when I decided that mom and dad needed to be *ahem* taught a lesson..I made posters and wrote ‘Hum bhookh hartal par hain”😀

I was 10. Bro was 9 and younger bro was 5😀 we were a motley little group😀

needless to say mom was not impressed by such puny threats:D and told us to continue it for as long as we wanted..:D

*sigh*

So we laid down our arms within 5 hours..:D

We could have been leftists in the making😀

And I got a gift from a dear dear friend😀😀

Solilo😀

LOL!!😀

awww this is sooo cute :)) Thank you Solilo:)

(((hugs)) Solilo :))

7.There was a teacher in 11th and 12th who seriously made my life difficult ..every time some prank was played I was made to stand up and a question was asked..”in an accusing tone..Abhilasha what did you do this time?”

😀

It never affected me,specially because Dad never (very rarely) went to PTA meets because he was usually busy (thank god!)😀 while mom used to give her standard reply,”I know my daughter better than anyone else” :D:D

muahh for mom!:))

and yes I did usually play those pranks or gave brilliant ideas for them😀

8.I have more than three thousand books at home but I have become VERY possessive of them lately. AFTER three friends took about 6o books between them and never returned them :(( I absolutely dislike such people!😦

I love giving books to people because Dad has always said something (ever since I have been a kid ) on the lines of ‘gyaan baantne se badhta hai’ , now I am just fed up of people who build their ‘collection’ with others books….I usually stay up till 2 or 3 reading books and get up on time too:D..I give my exams right after I have stayed awake the whole night and I feel fresh

*do I sense a reprimand coming*?:D

9.I am a shopaholic but only in the sense that I end up buying either books or chocolates or ethnic stuff or tribal stuff. :))

Fab India,Sanskriti,Dilli haat and all the bookstores are therefore my fav haunts

I also do not believe someone when they say they love books (exceptions are there :D) , because if someone truly loves books then they would spend money on books and not on clothes and jewellery and rubbish..so unless they are ready to spend money on their ‘passion’ I dont believe them….

my friends keep me grounded and sane and also keep a lookout 24×7 so that I dont venture near shops😀 they literally push me in the opposite direction..

10.I dont believe that anyone can get lost or end up at the wrong place😀

I and a close college friend simply treat it as a new way to explore..so If we have to go to Saket and end up at Rajghat(don’t ask me how)😀 we decide we’ll explore that part of Delhi that day🙂

11.I am allergic to dyed clothes, Wool, coffee(if its strong)I have to have it very mild, Chocolates ,perfume and Artificial metal..You can therefore imagine my plight

😦

12.Mom and Dad detest kundalis which is why no kundalis have been made for me or my brothers..However, a friend of my dadaji told dad that your daughter carries the fate of her whole family..she is your blessing :))

😀 It is nice to hear😀

ma calls me ‘Raunak’ (though for different reasons):D

13.I am a sucker for nostalgia …I love Doordarshan days ..they were something else..Govind nihalani,Shyam benegal,Gulzaar ,Rahi masoom raza and others…..Tamas,Bharat Ek khoj, malgudi days, ..all on the small screen…

I also have each scrap no matter how useless or how old…lying with me…ticket stubs when I had gone for the first movie with mom…another from the time when I and my brothers had gone and had fun:)…Dad’s journal from his IMA days :)…..letters and cards amd marriage invitations(of cousins):) my cousins have lost their first invitations and come to me pleading😀 *evil laugh*

14.I dislike sending a message or an sms ,I would rather pick up the phone and call the person…its very rare that I send an sms🙂 I can say much more in that time that I would use to type..:D

I however am a born letter writer each person in my life has bundles of letters all from me😀..my family,my friends..:)

15.I have learnt Odissi classical dance But dont remember it that well now…

16.I have never come across people whom I didn’t like in my entire life…I am however, wary of people who share secrets of others…talking about someone between friends is fine but to divulge something that someone has told you in confidence is something else..

17.Reading Solilo’s tapori boli😀 reminded me that I too do it.:D

I can talk like a tapori but my specialty is the jat accent :D:D and I can make mom go crazy with it😀 She gets fed up with constant references to ‘oye chori tanne samajh aayi”:D and this is the polite one😀 and I picked up this haryaanvi /jat accent /boli only two years back from a guy in my course😀

and yeah I have a mad family😀

18.My father calls me by my full name (name with surname )😀 when he is irritated with me😀 and I call him Pitaji when i am irritated with him😀

He has figured it out by now😀

I jabber on even when tempers are running dangerously high in the house😀 and despite looks of warning from my brothers to shut up, I never do :D….jabbering like that makes things return back to normal..:)

19.I used to suffer from stage fright once upon a time..now however just put me anywhere and ask me to talk on any topic and I can go on and on😀

I dont care if its an audience of 1000 or 2000…once you have done it infront of sullen 17 year olds you have done it all🙂

Also the same sullen teens are close to me now..my very first students..we are still in touch after three years…I write long comments in the notebooks of my students and they love it..and it is constructive as well:)

The students I taught in 9th and who are in 12th now have still kept their History notebooks…:)

20.I am a pest for my closest friends but they bear me somehow ,they consider me a pest and a constant talker….however counting my family and close friends the list of close people is 10 in my life, so they are the only ones who know the insane side , for all the others ,that is , the world, I am the most balanced individual ..:)

I am also the agony aunt for the world..and I love solving troubles …people older than me and those very young ad ofcourse my age group ,everyone has a dilemna which I help to solve..:)

I should open an agency I think:D

21.I got into Journalism School (or college/institute ) three years in a row..IIMC Delhi..Everytime I dropped out because it was not for me ..err..I am sure my first employer would have chucked me out anyway because I ramble..incase you didnt notice😀 *hides from Vimmuu*

22.I used to give money to beggars, but after some close friends strongly objected to it ,I started carrying food or toffees and used to buy the roses or books or balloons even if they were of no use……But I still dont know what to do..

if I dont have food or toffees or chocolates ,its very hard to not give them anything..its hard..

😦

23. Some things I absolutely dislike :-

people who don’t like animals..actually people who almost hate animals and there are quite a few..

-pirated books

-pirated movies/music

-people who treat books like crap

-people who are insensitive and by that I mean those who sit like a statue (as if someone is not standing with his/her nose pressed against the window) when beggars come up to them with the excuse that beggars shouldnt be encouraged……yes they shouldn’t be, but what is the solution?:(

-people who are negative..if someone is too negative, I make sure my interaction with them is less..it affects me terribly.. almost physically drains me..

-stupid people which would mean people who have no logical arguments and expect you to agree with them because they ‘say so’

-People who throw around words like fascism , nazism , feminism ,hate without knowing a single thing…

saying iIhate Hitler and I hate Modi and then saying I hate coffee sounds absurd doesnt it? (applicable in the first two instances and absurd in the last)

Use hate and other words only when it is required..

-Anyone who hurts my friends (and family ofcourse) I never forgive them

-people who look to see how much a gift is worth

-people who judge and worse, deliver their stupid judgements with a flourish that is irritating….and these kind are usually the ones who have faults galore

-people who give money to ‘shani maharaj’on saturdays at traffic lights..I mean really!height of dumbness!

-people who haggle about prices like its a life and death situation…and with whom? If its with shopkeepers its still okay to an extent(only to an extent) but no !these people haggle with rickshawallahs and coolies at the station..It pisses me off! I mean its an effing 10 or 20 bucks! Would you turn into a pauper if you gave it?

23.I can chat with anyone under the sun..When I am in buses or autos or anywhere…people usually find it easier to talk when they feel comfortable..I have heard many amazing stories of personal courage or sometimes heartbreaking ones from people I never saw again…

24.I can eat anything as long as it is vegetarian or eggatarian..This makes my friends think that I wouldn’t know ‘great food if it was right under my nose😀

I think that I do know great food😀 ….but I dont see any point in being finicky about something that we are blessed to have in the first place….

25.I am terrified of blood and gore movies or horror ones…I don’t scream but I close my eyes and put my fingers in my ears and start chanting rubbish😀

which is why my brothers think its funny to show me horror flicks by lying and saying they are chick flicks😀

I also cannot watch movies with a sad end…I dislike such movies..unless its a masterpiece I dont watch such movies..which is why younger bro lies and tells me all movies that he has have happy endings😀

If he didnt show me ‘art’ movies or world cinema I wouldnt know a thing😀

——————————————————————————————–

And did you see how cleverly I increased the length of the tag?😀

all sub points *looks innocent*

I tag all my friends who would love to do this tag🙂 I dont want to force you but if need be then I will😀 *evil grin* so complete the tag pronto!

And my space is open for friends who would love to do it here:))

Vinod Sir,Quirky Indian and anyone else who is more comfortable doing it here:)

Thank you to all my friends who tagged me🙂 As you can see I was just waiting for such an opportunity to ramble:D

1.Ha..ha.. you started out with a bang. Chappal ji, Joota ji.

2.Were you Iron deficient? People often crave for non-food items when they have Iron deficiency and the condition is called Pica. I had such craving during my pregnancy and it stopped after Iron supplement.

    3. I was the opposite. Hated food and I was skinny. Quite the opposite from now.

    4.Ha..ha..you silly girl.

    5.{{{Hugs}}}

6.Ha..ha..You should be the ‘Chief’ in the personality test.

7.You made everybody’s life hell. Didn’t you? You little prankster.

    8. Okay now just like I asked Chirag to start a Chiragflix like netflix for his video collections, I request you to start a Library. Oh! I hate it too when people don’t return things esp. books.

    9. I love Fab India. When I go to India, I loot the place. I buy everything they have.

11.Oh dear! You are allergic to Chocolates. Then why do you buy in the first place (9.)

    12.We haven’t made Peanut’s horoscope. don’t plan to either. Raunak..you are.

    13. YAY! me too. I live in past. I wish for a time machine to just go in the past. I love everything you mentioned here.

    14. Same here. I actually can count the number of SMS-es I have send. I hate SMS. I am not a phone person. I prefer letters too though don’t write to anyone anymore. Damn the internet.

    15. I have learnt Bharatnatyam and have done a performance on Doordarshan eons ago. Love Odissi.

    16. I know. I am wary of such people too.

    17. My lathmaar.

    18. OMG! I do the same with Peanut. If I call her by her full name then she knows Mamma is mad.

    19. Same here. Wasn’t very comfortable before as I didn’t even want to be with more than 5 people let alone in front of a crowd but later I could talk anytime, anywhere. No fear.

    20. Though I have lot of friends, I too prefer to have less close friends. The ones with whom you can share everything and you can trust.

    21. Oh no! you shouldn’t have. From your writings I always thought you would have made a fabulous reporter for Discovery. You know making segments about India. You talk about India so passionately.

    23. Ahem! I am allergic to animals. Please don’t hate me. *cries*

Agree with you on many points here.

    25. I am a fanatic when it comes to Thriller and Horror. I have watched most Hitchcockian movies. Just recently I stopped watching gory movies because they tend to become repetitive but other than that thrillers, suspense. I still love them.

    —————-

It was a nice peak into your persona. Thanks Abhi. Reading this I imagined you as this natkhat little girl with curls.

    You are one big prankseter😀

But somehow I after reading these 25 things about you I can relate a lot more to you and find loads of me in you😀

As a kid I have eaten mud, wall ka plaster, soap and what not😀 I was a nightmare for my parents…

And our views on Books are so so much same…I always carry a book with me when I travel and this girl had some tragedy at her place so was very dull. I suggested her to read some books and decided to lend her some. Once the other ladies who commute with us saw this, they started asking me to get some book for them as well. It was like I have started a library. I gave one book to this other lady but was in no mood to pass on further books. When ishaara's stopped working with her I went upfront and said her 'sorry I will not be able to give my books to you as I love them a lot'😀

And u know what, even for me when gifting somebody something book comes 1st on my mind🙂

BTW I have broken my promise😀

Loved to know so much about u & enjoyed it because of the way u have written🙂

#2. Same here mitti tasted so well, did you add water or just neat🙂 , joke apart the gili mitti kis smell is something I always cherish
#3: On eating everything lol🙂 and how’s the diary now?
#4: You’re Mom and Dad are really cool, folks🙂
#5. Ya, loosing your grandparent is a strange thing, what I can recollect my nanaji too, passed away from cancer(that’s why I guess, I never smoke), we all loved him so much, he was the coolest. What did you and nani, talk abt mostly some stories?
#6: Leftists in making🙂 LOL, parents never take these threats seriously😉 they just know everything. Did you have hierarchy, first dad then mom, who took your side, I can guess, Dad must be on your side and Mom the strict one … (I too once threatened my parents I will run away from the house and did🙂 that story some other time)
#7: Coolest Mom right🙂 looking at the previous post, i can only guess, were you a last bencher! Bechari, teacher, you didn’t have to write “and yes I did usually play those pranks or gave brilliant ideas for them😀 ” I know you wree either the instigator or played an important role in the mayhem.
Btw, In 7th I once pushed a male teacher really hard and then kicked him😉 and I was the quite one🙂 , he too made my life a living hell but bad for him, I was good in science.

#8: @three thousand books: Dost🙂 I’ll give you movies and you give me the books he he he he 3000 *phew*, and you fav author(s) is ?
    # 9 I was waiting for this, what tribal stuff exactly, I know Books and Chocolate are my weakness too, but tribal stuff hmmm .
    # 10 @anyone can get lost or end up at the wrong place😀 : No Indyeah, that’s call loosing your way🙂 and then not admitting it *Ducks and runs*
    # 11: Raunak🙂
#12; Is you’re dad in army too? In all possibility my dad will know you dad🙂 , yay🙂
@born letter writer: I agree, you have written one of the best comets I’ve ever recd. thanks
@My father calls me by my full name (name with surname )😀 when he is irritated with me😀 and I call him Pitaji when i am irritated with him😀 ; This will stick in my mind, with niki to, If I am pissed, I’ll say nikita, all the other times niki, ha ha ha when she’s pissed she’s say Mr. chirag chamoli
History has it, dropped out have fared better then educated people 🙂 seriously, thought why did you drop out, did you light the place on fire? or Assassinated a teacher?

    @dislike:
    Why😦 -pirated books -pirated movies/music.
@because they ‘say so’ – Hah ah ah, I know quite a few
@haggle : me too🙂 people never will haggle for 3000 Rs Shoes, but 14 rs. Allo, they will fight till they have it for 10🙂

Well then I would say, its good to be in the company of genius.🙂

I had a cousin who used to eat mitti, v had to work hard to get him out of that habit.

I hate peopel who dont return books. Of late, I have been steadily lending bools to my colls. But they seem to return it so far. But den whole other people who r nt my friends started to ask, I resent that.

If u cant buy books, and love books, least you can do is to join a library rather than asking strangers to lend you. 3k books is really sumthng.🙂

I know some people who actually use your full name when they are irritated. BUt use ‘Pitaji” LOl

And you wake up so late and then u can rise early, I mean. I love to wake up late but then I can’t rise early. I read atleast 2 books at a time, and many artcles that need to be read. So I wud hav had it easier if had this trait of urs.

Its ws great to know more about you, and I am wita yr frind, no money to beggars.😛 More leg-pulling reserved for later.😉

Indy’ji’ Isn’t this tag just awesome, you can go on and on about yourself… That’s why I guess it’s so popular😀

He he, lured with food and then planning a Bhookh Hartal, and with posters??? My God!

And 3000 books? are you also keeping your school syllabus books as well – 3rd std. maths, 4th std. maths etc. etc.

Though, I’ve spoken on stage a lot of times (and successfully), my heart still beats fast whenever I’m on stage…

And obviously, who else would write long comments in school note-books? (Just to add, love your long comments)

And love your ‘ramblings’ he he…

Dude, actually the trend is now changing many of really really good authors put the books on piratebay and others torrents, the reason is simple, no one, and I mean one reads a book from PC, but if people start liking a book they spread the word and buy a hard cover, so actually the profits increase.

My Dad’s in Engs and I have many uncles from Signals, so I am sure someone knows someone knows….

    1. I have very sparingly used “ji” infact find hard to talk with ‘adab” usually..

    2. I used to eat anything that was around.. once even ate rat poison filled biscuit and survived😀 ** rats did too*

    3. I never cried too once I am full. Dad used to say ki once am fed I wont disturb anyone. My sis was not like that she would cling to mom no matter what. Until a very long time. Mom leaving for office was a big cry affair😀

    4. whoa scary!

    5. Umm only my nani survives. rest were dead before we were born. I am not at all close to my nani.

    6. Oh I was never so forceful. I would convince ppl that the idea was theirs😉 so when I wud get caught it wouldnt be my fault😀😀

    7. Lol kewt notty notty you!

    8. Envy your book collection. I have around 1000 i guess. My dream is to own as many books as I can😀

    9. Ah i love ethnic stuff too! how colorful!

    10. oh wow! *same pinch* once me and my friend got lost n we end up in red light area.. that was scary *phew*

    11. allergic to chocolates??? *too bad* and wool? What do u do in winter? :O :O

    12. umm raunak huh? lovely pet name.. raunak means “glow” or “bringtness”

    13. Am sucker for DD1 too😀😀 And I have all the letters that my friend wrote to me.. even small messages on ticket stubs😀

    14. I dont mind smsing.. its fun in the dead of the night when u r not sleepy n u cant afford to call and talk.. umm but i dont usually forward smses or emails.. i find it useless.. but i love receiving them😉

    15. I always wanted to learn dancing and umm carnatic music

    16. I dont usually get close to people easily. Atleast not until they get quite close to me and we seem to connect🙂

    17. Apun bhi bole toh ekdumich tapori boltaye kya? Bole toh jhakaas!!

    18. My father calls me ” Naayikutti” ( kutte ka pillu) when he is in good mood🙂 and I call him appi or appu or appitti when I am in good mood😀

    19. Me too Me too *smae pinch* and now I dont feel inhibitted to even dance in the middle of the road! now my friends feel inhibitted walking with me😉

    20. Ah pesky you😛😛

    21. Ah rambling is so much fun! You gotta be a writer😀

    22. Umm I still give it to very old people. I cant bear to see them beg. However, I turn a blind eye to young kids and mothers with kids and all. Its a business and I am not willing to give it to them.

    23. Err I do buy pirated books. or rather I used to buy.. coz I never had enuf money to buy them.. so I buy second hand or pirated too.. again used to.. now I can afford it and I buy genuine ones🙂

you have two 23 :O :O and so long too😛

I cat chat with anyone under the sun too😀😀 and ppl tend to tell me stuff they haven’t told anyone. And I love that. I mean I love the fact that ppl get so comfy with it!

I am insensitive to some beggars coz if you are not they start touching you and all.. and I absolutely hate that
I hate arguing with ppl if I can avoid it I never do. But when I do I cannot stop😀
I never ever even go to a temple and totally hate any swamijis beh!
@ haggling with rickshaw wallas well you have to else they rip you very badly.. atleast in bangalore..

As it is it is double the meter after 8.. think what it wud be if I dont haggle :O I dont usually haggle for anything

    24. I am not choosy but I dont eat umm karela😀

    25. I love psychological thrillers. I am terrified of horror movies but I still watch.. I am disgusted by gore movies.. wud never wathch it!

WoW! Someone else who has a passion for books/reading. Yes I’m just as bad. I Spend most of my money purchasing books. I LOVE READING. BUT my mother gets exstreemly angry with me for puchasing so many and nothing having the space to store them. BUT I haven’t beaten your record. So What kind of things do you enjoy reading? Who is your favourite author? What language are the books that you read? Sorry! I’m just being noisy BUT I am facinated/interested.

And about you eatting “mitti” which is silty sand, means you must have hand a iron (Vitamin B12) or calcium deficiency

me-nah!didnt have a deficiency the docs ruled it out..I probably was a hungry kid😆

    about bookws ah! another bibliophile😀

I feel like a kid most of the time when leaving comments and asking so many questions. Then sometimes I make myself sound so muture and understand when talking about serious issues (e.g. Smitha & IHM wrote about stopping sex ed in indian schools)🙂
      me-lol!😀
then you must be mature and understanding right? if you can ask questions with honesty and insightfulness🙂
seems like I missed these posts of Smitha’s and IHM’s🙂 have to search for them now🙂 thanks🙂
